It is a well-developed map and user support and can handle several different types of GPS devices in the same app, giving users simplicity, great freedom and flexibility.

How is PosifonCare adapted to individual needs?
The system allows customization of GPS devices, time-based alarm settings and alarm reception based on each user’s specific needs and preferences. This means that the device can be chosen based on how the user wants to wear it and what the purpose is.

Who can receive the alarms and how does the alarm reception work?
Alarm reception can be tailored and scheduled according to individual preferences and business needs. Alarms can be received by staff or a call center depending on the time and priority. If the first alarm recipient does not respond, the alarm is escalated to the next on the list.

Is the system difficult to use?
No, PosifonCare is designed to be user-friendly. The approach to managing alarms and performing searches is the same regardless of the GPS device used, making it easy to learn and use. The system also provides access to action plans, support and clear help sections.

How can we purchase the services?
Posifon has a unique and wide range of products and is a supplier to all Help Centers (HMC) that offer GPS alarms. It is common for a special housing, a LSS unit or home care groups to order via HMC or buy directly without public procurement. The price for 30 devices is well below the thresholds for direct procurement. If procurement is required, the Addas framework contract, tender area 5, is an easy way to go. We are happy to help with answers if anyone in the municipality has questions about finances, security, etc.

Posifon’s services consist of a mobile social alarm, access to the PosifonCare alarm portal and associated telephone costs. You buy the social alarm and pay a monthly fee to use the services.

What is the easiest way to buy a mobile social alarm?
The answer is that it depends on where the person wearing the alarm lives. Posifon is a supplier to many municipalities and all Assistive Technology Centers that offer GPS alarms. So either it can be purchased in our webshop or you can contact the municipality’s assistance officer to find out if they can be obtained through them or the aid center. If you are unsure, you can contact us for advice on what is available where you live.

How does PosifonCare work and what support can it provide?
PosifonCare is an app that connects mobile social alarms to an easy-to-use platform. The app allows the user to contact relatives who can see where they are if they wish. This provides the opportunity for security, independence and a continued active life as help can be given if something should occur.

Is it difficult to use the system?
No, PosifonCare is user-friendly. You don’t need to be tech-savvy to get started. We also offer support and instructions to ensure you feel comfortable with PosifonCare.

Can the service be used everywhere?
Yes, PosifonCare together with mobile social alarms work everywhere, both indoors and outdoors – 24/7, as long as there is contact with a mobile network. This is particularly valuable for active seniors and/or people with special needs who want to maintain their freedom of movement. If you want more support than the user alerting themselves, fall alarms and the ability to create customized safety areas provide added peace of mind.

What happens if something unexpected happens?
With a simple push of a button, the user can summon help. If the user is deemed unable to raise the alarm themselves, a geographical safety area can be defined. If they leave the area or if the fall sensor is triggered, an alarm message is sent to the next-of-kin alarm receiver who can speak to the user and quickly take action.

How does PosifonCare help promote safety?
Just knowing that an alarm is available is important and reassuring. PosifonCare enables relatives to be updated on the user’s well-being. By knowing where they are and being able to act quickly if something happens.
